I am a thinker, artist, and healer.
My practice is informed by academic studies brought to life by immersive hands-on professional and deeply personal experiences.
As a Western-educated and trained medical doctor and neuroscientist, I have shepherded thousands of patients and their families through unspeakable illnesses and injuries. Some healed. Others did not. These intimate and powerful interactions granted me opportunities to question why one person and not the other while also accepting an organic flow of life.
As a cancer patient, I faced an unexpected threat to my own mortality. In a moment, my lens shifted from doctor-in-charge to patient-at-loss. I fell into dark, lonely spaces within myself that only time could heal. With effort, I learned to nurture a quieter, more vulnerable part me that treasures this embodied lifetime.
The Micromiracle is an effort to share my thoughts and help guide you towards a life that feels authentic and true to yourself.

Much of my life iss dedicated to continuous learning. I completed my undergraduate studies in Chemistry at Harvard University
and won a competitive merit-based Medical Scientist Training Program award that funded my studies towards an MDPhD in Neuroscience at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. My clinical training includes a general surgery internship and residency in neurosurgery at The Washington University School of Medicine and in Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care at The University of California in San Francisco where I also served on faculty. Personal and professional interests in innovative biotechnologies and their impact on society led me to spend several years masters level studies in Bioethics at Columbia University. Most recently, I spent a year immersed in studies that married my lifelong interest in the brain and the mind, and how psychedelics as medicines can facilitate inner healing. This work has led to a Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies, California Institute of Integral Studies and guide certification by the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies.
